GORGES OF TIBERIO - SITE RECOGNIZED BY UNESCO

Gorges of Tiberius, Geopark site recognized by UNESCO, are located along the river Pollina in the Madonie Park, away 28 Km from Geraci Siculo. Gorges consisting of calcareous rocks are about 400 meters long and up to 50 meters high.

The visit to the Gorges of Tiberius is a journey in a wild unknown place for lovers of unspoiled nature, silence, discovering a world that goes back about 200 million years ago.
